In addition to the traditional design-bid-build project delivery method, Morgan Corp. is a leader in the fast-tracked design-build project delivery method. The design-build process allows contractors to be innovative and creative, and reduces both the time and cost required to complete a heavy highway project.

Technology

Morgan Corp. has the resources and the ability to complete any size heavy highway project. One project of note, the J. Verne Smith Parkway in Spartanburg County, is a 5-mile, four-lane concrete-paved divided parkway with several bridges and box culverts. The project had over 2 million cubic yards of excavation, including 700,00 cubic yards of rock requiring drilling and blasting. We are also proud to have been awarded the maximum incentive offered by the SCDOT for the early completion of the first phase of the I-585 improvement project to reconstruct access to the growing campus of USC-Upstate.
